Welcome to the official, unofficial, double secret web
site.
Don't tell Dean Crafa about it!
This is a test. Try this link and see if it works to get to a ZBE chatroom. This is another free service, so let's just see how it goes.
Please note that the banner ads on top of each page and the likelihood that these pages take a long time to load are results of this site being hosted basically for free. Until such time that the traffic here warrants our investing additional capital to improve these conditions, just deal...
Check out the email list to see if there are any brothers that you still may want to contact. If you know of any others who might want to be added, send a message to zbe@att.net
Can you believe there is a company, ZBE industries, that has taken ZBE.com. Do any of you guys own it? If not, the very least that one of you successful brothers can do is buy out the company and take the domain name from them.
Did you ask to see some photos? Well, the following photo archive has the potential to ruin lives, destroy careers and break up happy homes. But, for now, the ZBE Webmaster's discretion will be used to just embarrass and make everyone say:
"What the hell was I thinking???"

How ZBE was Finally Kicked Off Campus, as told by
Bundy
How we got kicked off campus. It is quite simple, They wanted us gone! We did not have the Political connections to save our BUTTS. They said we could defend ourselves, for stuff we did do but use to be able to get away with,at an intrafraternal council trial. The LAX coach who's name escapes me was prosecuting.
While I was waiting outside of Craffa's office to go over procedure for the Trial, I overheard Craffa telling the LAX coach " I want them gone" if the Intrafraternal council does not kick them out We will. The fix was in from the beginning. Granted we did some stupid things they could not and did not prove, but it was the Changing Times at Adelphi that did us in. The Hockey fight was the last straw. We did do that and we were provoked from the beginning. It was during a time that everywhere we turned someone was trying to F#*K us.
As history dictates "every GREAT Empire eventually comes to an end" However we are still Alive and Kicking. That is evident through this website.
If there is anyone to blame about us getting kicked off campus. I will take it. I was the oldest Active Brother at the time, with the exception of Morone. We put up a good fight and even thought we had them for a while. We could not muster the support of any of the other Fraternities. We called in all sorts of Favors. I guess they all thought with ZBE gone they could be #1.
That is how I remember it. Getting the boot had nothing to do with ONE single act or one bad thing that we did. It was our Reputation and something we were all tough as a Pledge. ZBE is #1 and being a ZBE means your #1. When you are at the top someone or thing is always going to try and Knock you down. HERE'S TO OUR FRATERNITY IT WILL ALWAYS LIVE FOREVER IN MY HEART! |

The story he tells is an old one. Adelphi had it out for us even when I was in school. It's incredible to me when I think that I was there 1976 to 1980! There was always someone in the frat on the SBA (or was it SPA) and we had our share of class Presidents. Not to mention that there was an Assistant Dean by the name of Mark Silberberg (or something like that) who was very tight with Luke S., Frankie B. and guys from that era. When Rick Marston took over, there were guys who had a great relationship with him. We did everything, both good and bad, and nothing could touch us. We also scored our share of "points" by doing good deeds that were very visible. When I was a Freshman, we participated in an all night charity basketball tournament. I remember a day as a senior where we all went to an event to be a big brother for a day for disadvantaged kids. When I was on Freshman Orientation, my group leader was Steve Curtis. That's Paul Curtis' older brother. I remember someone asking him about frats at Adelphi. I remember his words to this day: "I'm not really into them, but if you want to join one, ZBE is the best." My first week at Adelphi, I run into Thad Demos. We had gone to the same High School, had some common friends, yet we really did not know one another well. We started hanging out, and a couple of days later I run into him in the UC. He told me he had run into Steve Miller, another guy we went to High School with, and Steve talked him into joining his frat. Thad said, "Hey why don't you join with me"? Many weeks, signatures, k'nappings, s. sessions, and a brutally cold and windy HFW later I was a ZBE. To this day when I remember some of the stuff we pulled, I can still laugh out loud. Being a part of ZBE has given me some of the best times of my life. |
